Syfy: Imagine Less (Science Fiction)

What’s more surprising than the apocalyptic disaster the town of Eureka has managed to get itself into this week? Try Syfy cancelling this hit show a week after renewing it for a sixth season.
That’s right, in a startling display of ineptitude that we should be used to by now, Syfy channel announced today, less than a week after renewing the show, that there will not be a sixth season for Eureka. Honestly, we shouldn’t be surprised, as Syfy has been steadily clearing it’s lineup of junk like the “Stargate” series’ and “Caprica” to make way for quality science fiction programs like “Ghost Hunters International” and “Friday Night Smackdown”
I have a feeling that someday, we’ll fondly reminise about the days when the Sci-Fi Channel used to actually have science fiction programming. C’mon, even MTV is making fun of them!
